Shakespeare tells us that “All the world’s a stage / And all the men and women merely players,” but he doesn’t say what those players should do when there’s nobody to perform for.
Theatre is not just acting out words on stage. Theatre is history. Theatre is music. Theatre is English. Theatre is a Science. Theatre is Math. Theatre is Foreign Language. Theatre is Global. Theatre is all of it wrapped in one. “The Show Must Go On!”  This has been the rallying cry of theatre people around the world. This mantra reflects the theatre community’s commitment to persevere in the face of challenging circumstances. Ticket sales have been canceled at this time.

Theatre is a business of bringing people together. That is the very reason theatre had to stop temporarily and, in due course, we will need and value that all the more. The world may have changed, but people have not.
