Paying tribute to the Jazz-age shows of the 1920s, the Drowsy Chaperone is a play-within-a-play that transports us back to the golden age of musicals. You’ll be greeted by The Man in Chair, a fan of vintage musical theatre who’s excited to share the original cast recording of “The Drowsy Chaperone”. The moment the needle touches the record, you’ll be transported from a crowded New York apartment to a 1928 Broadway theatre filled with glitz, glamour, champagne, and choreography.
