Feeling a little curious? You’re in the right place! We invite you to join us for a savagely good time as Coventry Christian’s high school theater students bring this heartwarming and hilarious story to life.

The Curious Savage is a comedic story about Ethel P. Savage, an elderly woman whose husband recently died and left her ten million dollars. With the money, she wishes to set up an eccentric foundation to fund foolish dreams. Her step-children, determined to stop her, send her to The Cloisters, a small sanatorium in Massachusetts. Contrasting the generosity, love, and kindness of psychiatric patients with the avarice and vanity of “respectable” public figures, The Curious Savage calls into action how we should live, especially as Christians, in a world consumed by selfishness and greed.

Thank you for supporting our Coventry student performers and our theatre program.
