The Backstage Bruins of Branham High School Proudly Present: Alice in Wonderland

Join us for a wild adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic writings in a performance that combines Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and Jabberwocky. Twelve year old Alice is developing her identity and sense of morals to find her place in the world when one day she falls down a rabbit hole into a surreal underground realm where she meets eccentric characters who defy logic and social rules. It is in Wonderland that Alice learns about who she is and what she stands for, which she is then able to bring back to her reality with a renewed sense of self and purpose. Alice is forever changed by her encounter, for in addition to the peculiar characters she meets she also must confront the Jabberwocky, a horrifying beast that creates terror in the hearts of all who cross its path.
